I am Nicole Brown, a seasoned cybersecurity professional with over 18 years of experience in the technology field. As the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Carter Enterprise Solutions, LLC (C-ents), I lead a cybersecurity firm that holds the distinction of being a General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule Holder, Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) in multiple states and United States Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) HUBZone Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB). My educational background includes a Master’s of Science Degree in Technology Management from the University of Maryland. I have invested in continuous learning and growth by earning a wide spectrum of professional certifications, awards and recognitions.

 

I am committed to shaping the future of cybersecurity compliance, practices and workforce training. I also actively contribute to the industry as a Cybersecurity Industry Volunteer with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE), and the United States Department of Labor (DoL) Office of Apprenticeship - CyberSecurity Working Group(s). I am dedicated to closing the workforce gap, driving cybersecurity forward, safeguarding digital landscapes, and inspiring the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
